Absolutely stunning venue! We booked our wedding at the Islander simply because of how beautiful it was, but the professionalism of the staff and the quality of the food ended up being the icing on the cake. The staff has tons of experience with weddings, and helped us completely change our layout the day before our wedding to make sure our reception was the best it could be. The food was incredible and we got numerous comments from guests about how it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Everything about the Islander was perfect!

I've been snapping pics at the Islander Resort for family and wedding gigs, and let me tell you, it's one heck of a spot in Islamorada. This place is like a dream for a photographer like me, offering up a bunch of cool backdrops that make every shot pop. What's awesome about the Islander? Well, first off, there's this huge stretch of ocean that gives me all the room I need for those big wedding group shots. Imagine the ocean in the background, surrounded by tropical greenery and tons of gorgeous palm trees – it's like a photo paradise. Come sunset, I always hustle my couples over to the pier. The sky lights up with candy colors, and the ocean just adds that extra oomph to make the pics romantic and timeless.
